Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for construction of a Captive Power Plant (CPP) (Pkg. No. CPP-1) at Indian Iron & Steel Company (IISCO) Steel Plant (ISP) in West Bengal on February 17, 2026. SAIL invited bids for the same in October 2024.
