Bids invited for balance work of civil work of CHP for Patratu Thermal Power Project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) invited bids for balance civil and works of Coal Handling Plant (CHP) including Track Hopper for the Patratu Thermal Power Project Phase I (NTPC) on May 30, 2023. The last date for bid submission is June 9, 2023.

The work is expected to be completed in 240 days.

Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV), formed by NTPC Limited, is implementing the project in a joint venture (JV) with Jharkhand BijliVitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) at Patratu in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. Phase I of the project involves development of three units of 800 MW each at an investment of 186.68 billion. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the project has been awarded to BHEL.
