Bids invited for pre-bid tie-up for Package BESS-01, BESS-02 for setting up 150 MW/300 MWh standalone BESS project in Punjab

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) invited bids for pre-bid tie-up for Package BESS-01 and Package BESS-02 for setting up a cumulative 300 MW/600 MWh under the 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project under tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) mode at 220 kV Bhatinda substation in Bhatinda, Punjab on March 5, 2026 and March 2, 2026, respectively.
