Bids invited for pre-bid tie-up for Package BESS-01, BESS-03 for setting up 375 MW/1,500 MWh standalone BESS project in Tamil Nadu

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) invited bids for Package BESS-01 and Package BESS-03 for setting up a cumulative 125 MW/500 MWh under the 375 MW/1,500 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project on build, own and operate (BOO) basis under tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) mode in Tamil Nadu on January 23, 2026.
