JSWEL enters into contract with Toshiba JSW for procurement of two STGs for 1,600 MW Salboni Supercritical Thermal Power Plant (Phase II) in West Bengal 

JSW Thermal Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited (JSWEL), entered into a contract with associate company, Toshiba JSW Power Systems Private Limited [a joint venture (JV) between Toshiba Corporation and JSW Group], for procurement of two steam turbine generators (STGs) of 800 MW each, for the 1,600 MW Salboni Supercritical Thermal Power Plant (Phase II) on January 15, 2026.
