Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has secured a loan worth Rs 47.1 billion (JPY 80 billion) for the establishment of the Khavda – Nagpur High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) line under the Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from potential renewable energy zone in Khavda area of Gujarat under Phase-V (8 GW): Part A from the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
