Scheme for pooling of tariff of those plants whose PPAs have expired

Recently, the power ministry finalised the scheme to pool power from all thermal power stations (coal and gas central generating stations) whose PPAs have expired, and make such pooled power available to willing beneficiaries. All distribution companies will be entitled to draw power from this pool though the original beneficiaries . . .
